The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
